Race Information
Note: Participants have the choice to pick up their race packet either at UNIVERSAL SOLE in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, or at the OAK BROOK PARK DISTRICT in the heart of the western suburbs. Indicate your choice when registering either on-line or via paper registration. Please read the Packet Pick-up times and locations carefully, as your materials will be delivered to the location that you request. If no packet pick-up location is designated, the packet will be delivered to The Oak Brook Park District for pick-up.
Note that race day packet pick-up will be held on Kensington Road, just south of the Starting Line Area.
PRE-RACE PACKET PICK-UP
At UNIVERSAL SOLE:
Packet Pick-up will start at 10:30 AM Wednesday, August 27th and continue through 5:00 PM Sunday, August 31st at UNIVERSAL SOLE, 3052 N. Lincoln Ave. Chicago, 60657 (phone: 773-868-0893). Plenty of street parking is available at Universal Sole.
At The OAK BROOK PARK DISTRICT:
Packet Pick-up will be from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday, August 30th and from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Sunday, August 31st at Oak Brook’s Central Park, Family Recreation and Aquatic Center, 1450 Forest Gate Road, Oak Brook, IL 60523.
RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP
Race Day packet pick-up will be held near the Starting Line Area, at 1400 Kensington Road, from 6:00 AM to 6:55 AM. Race Day parking is conveniently located just north of the Staring Line Area, in the Ace Hardware corporate parking lot, and at The Crossings office complex parking lot. Arrive early for best parking. Give yourself sufficient time to pick-up your race packet. The race will start promptly at 7:00 AM.
ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL PICK UP THEIR TIMING CHIP ON RACE DAY, JUST WEST OF THE STARTING LINE AREA, NEAR THE RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP LOCATION ON KENSINGTON ROAD.
