THE COURSE

The course is a strategic combination of city streets, bike trails, and forest preserve paths, with rolling hills throughout. It begins on wide city streets before heading into the Oak Brook Sports Core, and connecting to the asphalt-surfaced Oak Brook Bike/Running Path System in the McDonalds Corporate Campus. After 6 1/2 miles of scenic paths, the course enters Fullersburg Woods for 3 miles of crushed limestone trails and challenging hills. Exiting the Woods, the course merges back onto the path, circling the perimeter of the Oak Brook Golf Club, and finishing up in Oak Brook’s wooded Central Park.
